Three.jsfest

Let's Fall Forward with a Three.js demo bash. No other agenda, just show and tell. The only requirement is an app or demo built with Three.js. That, and Don Olmstead is NOT allowed to throw vegetables. :-)

    Hi Everybody

My new $249 Chromebook arrived today. Runs WebGL and Three.js just fine. See http://www.jaanga.com/2012/10/w....

I am beginning to get code up elsewhere on jaanga - see the Brain of Richard app for example - and there's a lot more on the way...

Call for presenters: hi all, I want to make it clear that anyone and everyone can come present their Three.js work at this Meetup. So far my confirmed speakers are me (showing off my O'Reilly book samples), Theo Armour (with a Datavis upgrade that will blow your mind), and the folks from Sunglass.io. The more the merrier! Let me know in advance if you can, otherwise feel free to show up and demo on the spot.

    Hi all,

Glorious GAFFTA, the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts, has generously agreed to host the next Meetup. Three.jsfest ties in nicely with GAFFTA's programs - they are teaching a Three.js course that very week!

Due to GAFFTA's scheduling restrictions we have broken with tradition and moved the meeting up a day to *Wednesday Sep 12th.* Hope you can still make it.

Paging Jake L - Jake I've tried to message you a couple of times. Are you still offering for GAFFTA to host Three.jsfest at the new space? Let me know ASAP. Otherwise if anyone else has suggestions please let me or the group know soon. Thanks

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
