I'd like to do a talk on the benefits of Value Objects in C# and how they help us to fail fast and write robust software.

I was thinking about your talk. When creating a "value type" they should be created as structs and not classes (You may have said and I just missed the detail) As that would put less pressure on the GC, because they would be popped off the stack (for free) when they go out of scope.

Good idea regarding GC. One issue with structs is when people use the default(<StructType>) keyword. It allows you to create type in an invalid state e.g the value is null when it can't be.

Not much of a report post, but I found it really funny! -

Really enjoyed the format. It's great to have a number of different interesting / useful topics to hear about, and also provides a good opportunity for quick presentations that wouldn't take up the whole hour.

BTW Last night I used the online version of NumbleText to wraggle some HTML into shape. Very useful - thanks!
