This is a group for sewers, dressmakers, tailors, crafters, and all other fabric hoarders to get together and chat about current projects, share ideas and advice, learn about dressmaking from each other, and generally get to know other people who love making things out of beautiful fabrics. New people always welcome, whether you've sewn all your life or haven't ever touched a sewing machine! It'll be nice to start off with some chats over coffee/wine/beer to decide what we all want from this group, and then as we grow we can try to organise a venue for machines too :) In the mean time, post your ideas!! - especially if you know of any interesting sewing/craft/fabric events coming up in Wellington that might interest others :)
