Trip Basics:

Mileage: 14ish miles round trip

Elevation Gain: About 4500ft gain

Pace: Moderate, about 4 hrs up, 2 or 3 back down, plus time at the top. (There's a cafe and the observatory is worth touring a bit.)

Terrain/Trail Type: Typical gravel/sand trails

Meeting Location/ Trail Head Parking:

We'll meet at the little park on the corner of Mt. There's street parking around there.

Weather: TBA - heavy rain cancels. Expect a long hot hike!

Gear:

Last time I did this hike there where hellish swarms of flies everywhere. I suggest long pants/ long sleeve and bug spray just in case. There is drinking water (and a cafe with sandwiches) at the top, but bring at least 3 or 4 liters for the long climb up.
