Trip Basics:

Mileage: 11.4 miles round trip based on my GPS from last time. We have to hike down Whitney, so we'll be hiking down this too!

Elevation Gain: 5964' gain

Pace: Should take about 5 hours up, 3-4 back down. It took me 5:23 to climb it last time with a weighted pack.

Terrain/Trail Type: Typical gravel/sand trails

Meeting Location/ Trail Head Parking:

Meeting Location is the Mt. Baldy Forest Service Visitor's Center. The address is mapped wrong on google Map. The approximate correct address is the corner of Goat Hill Dr and Mt Baldy Road, Mt Baldy, CA. It is on the only road through town, so it is hard to miss.

There is street parking past the visitor's center, within a 10 minute walk. Do not park in the visitor's center parking lot - they lock the gate at 3pm. Bring an Adventure Pass just in case since some lots around there require it.
