This is a training hike intended to be done in under 5 hours to allow us time to beat the traffic back to LA. My pace is usually 2hr from the trailhead to the top of Baldy. I have no problem going slower if the group's pace is slower. (I'm a pretty flexible guy; I just go with the flow.) So please don't be discouraged from joining if you'd prefer to take more than 2hr going up--just so long as we can be out and back to the cars in under 5hr.
