Parker Mesa Overlook - 6 miles Sunset/night hike

Griffith Park gets all the evening hiking action, but I'd rather have a nice view of the ocean.

Sunset is at 6:05 PM, moonrise at 5:24 PM, so we'll catch the sunset on the way up and hike under the nearly full moon.

Distance: 6 miles round trip, out and back, all on dirt roads

Elevation Gain: 800 ft

Hike Time: 4 hours (ish)
