*Please Note: This is not an anonymous group. We have members hosting events in their homes, so transparency is CRUCIAL. Please upload a photo of your face, and put your real name on your profile. Those who do not do this will not be accepted. I will also remove people who have been inactive for over a year, as we would like to maintain a group of serious members.*
At this time, I would like to inform everyone that we are asking for an optional yearly donation of $10, as Meetup.com charges us every month to be here. I understand if you are not able to donate. I could not afford to keep the group running on my own, so I want to extend a big thank you to members who have donated so far. We all benefit from this great group and the friendships we make here!
We will divide our events into public and private events. Public events (Such as knitting at Westside Pavilion, cafes, and parks) do not require a donation. However, we ask that for private events (meetings at members homes, road trips, etc), members pay the $10 yearly fee. Thank you for understanding.
We are a diverse group of people who get together to knit/crochet, snack, and chat. We have everyone from long time knitters to those who want to learn how. If you are completely new to knitting, please email me and we can talk about how to get you started!
This group is all about supporting/ helping each other and sharing ideas.
My vision for this group is for our members to expand their fiber arts toolboxes and learn new things. Even if you're a seasoned knitting veteran, there are always new stitches to learn, new projects being written, and new techniques to do something. We have member-taught classes and fun events, so join us and find out for yourself!
Remember, this group is about learning and expanding your crafty "horizons". If you've got a skill to bring to the table, please share. There will be someone who is wanting to learn some new stuff. We certainly love learning new things.
We meet every Saturday morning at the Westside Pavilion Food Court. We also host events at the library, cafes, parks, local yarn shops, and each others homes to enjoy some lively conversation and meeting new people.
Feel free to let me know of any questions or ideas. I'm always open for a chat. Hope to see everyone soon!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
