Upper Rogue River Clean-up

Details
We have changed our stretch of river to focus on an area that will need considerably more effort. We will now Meetup at Rogers Park in downtown Sparta, divide into two teams. Team #1 will put-in on Nash Creek at the park and work downstream. Team #2 will put-in on Division and work their way up Nash Creek from the Rogue River.
We will be joining in with members from several other originations to open Nash Creek and the Upper Rogue River for paddling and also for the 'Rogue River Expedition', later in June.
All we want to do is open a path 6'-10' wide so we can safely pass through with canoes and kayaks, and pick up any debris we come across in the process.
Each team should have at least one chain saw and heavy enough ropes to pull bigger logs out of the current (not out of the river). Smaller limbs and logs can be left to the river to take care of. No trees are to be cut if a paddle craft can safely pass.
If more people RSVP than we need, then we will add more teams to cover more of the river.
All club safety precautions will be observed at all times. Water is expected to be near normal depth but will still be cold. Dry bags with change of clothes are required, along with typical safety equipment for team or self rescue.
Time to get to work, Spring is here.
