WSBN: WordPress Security

The March 18 Meetup will feature WordPress Security with guest speaker Regina Smola from and  Regina is a nationally-known WordPress security expert, consultant and speaker.

This is a timely presentation due to the recent attacks on WordPress sites. Some of my sites and client sites have been under the "brute force attacks."

Learn how to protect your WordPress website and blog from hacks that can take your site down, spread virus' to your computer or your visitor's computers, get you de-listed in Google and more!  Sometimes they hack WordPress.  Sometimes they hack in via widgets and files on your site.

Learn why simply changing your password after you've been hacked will not always resolve the problem!

Learn how quickly someone can hack into your site with your current password using a free online tool!

Save your self the time and money a hacked WordPress site can cost you!

Regina was the guest speaker in November 2012 and many people have asked to have her back.

There is a $5 fee for facilities, which includes a light breakfast.

Start at 7:30am. Presentation 7:45-8:45 Network 8:45-9:00

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
