How would you describe your religious and scientific experience?

I was happy as a Christian, but can not go back to something I believe is false. I'm very content as an atheist and have great awe and wonder from all that science is allowing us to discover about the world and universe around us.

I'm intrigued. All the Christians I know well reject science since it doesn't mesh with their extreme\fundamental views. I'd like to know how someone of faith is able to mesh the two without contradiction.

What Kurt is saying about this Meetup Group

Today's technology allows us to live in a very narrow media culture aimed at exactly what we want to see. I think it's important to reach out and discuss with people of different viewpoints. If you don't challenge yourself, then your mind will rot.
