Saturday Afternoon Workshop: Drumming & Spirituality

A chance for people of all skill levels to participate in hands-on rhythm making. We will experience the connection of community music making through different activities, stories, games & discussions, as well as look at how rhythm & music intersect with Unitarian Universalist values. Bring your own drum if you have one. If not? Enough will be provided.
Workshop leader, Matt Meyer, is a Unitarian Universalist musician & community organizer who has led hundreds of sessions & services across North America. He has music degree & has studied in Cuba, Ghana & Central America.
