Basics of ritual for the Beginner

This is for the VERY NEW to this path, people. In other words never been to a public ritual, never read a book or read a book and want to know if I'm doing it "RITE". It would also be appropriate for someone who feels that their skills could use a brush up.

-I will be doing a very basic ritual class. This is for those of you that have questions like, "What do you mean by call the directions?"

-It will be 5 hours long (give or take). It is designed to answer basic questions and give a modicum of comfort to those of you who are not sure or a little shy of trying something so new. No one will be kept away if they feel that they need a basic refresher.

Since this will be going over the noon hour if everyone brought something to share we could have a potluck to tide us until supper.

These are some topics that I hope to touch on. If you have questions please bring them with you and I will try to answer as many as I can in the time that we have.

Casting the Circle

Widdershins/Deosil

Wheel of the Year- Sabbats vs esbats

Cakes and Wine (cakes and ale)

Opening the Circle/dismissing directions
