Introduction to NServiceBus - Jimmy Pelletier
Overview: NServiceBus is an open-source service bus for .NET, with v3.0 now supporting the Windows Azure Service Bus for it’s transport layer. Based on state of the art patterns from SOA and proven object-oriented practices, NServiceBus enables parallel service layer development, version tolerant message schemas, as well as fluent business-process unit testing.
Speaker: Jimmy Pelletier is an NServiceBus trainer, consultant and organiser of the Alt.Net user group in Melbourne.
Windows Azure Web Sites - Tatham Oddie
Tatham will give a 20 minute talk on Windows Azure Web Sites capabilities, during this talk Tatham will demo Continuous Development integration with Git.
Speaker: Tatham's technical focus lies around harnessing the heterogeneous environment of networks, devices and software clients we like to call ‘the web’ for both fun and profit.
He speaks regularly about his experiences and discoveries at conferences and events throughout Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe. In recognition of this, he is a five-time Microsoft awarded Most Valuable Professional.
As a Principal Consultant with Readify he works with businesses to better utilise their technology investments and develop their teams.
