Farm Tour & Green Fire
Tim Andrews is a professor of Environmental Studies at Edgewood College. Follow him through 6 different ecosystems on a walking tour of the 200 acre farm. Learn to identify native trees and shrubs and about the interrelationships between them followed by a viewing of Green Fire.

Farm Lunch
Enjoy venison stew, homemade bread and apple crisp as we reflect on our day (vegetarian available by request).

Hike & Reflective Journaling
Climb the hill to the Andrews "Leopold Shack" and look across the Wisconsin River Valley ahttp://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/6/6/e/event_90446222.jpegs the hardest working river in the world makes it's way from Sauk Prairie to Spring Green through the Lower Wisconsin Riverway. Experience the cadences of nature here in deep country, just minutes from Madison. Learn how you might embrace the land ethic discovered by Leopold 60 years ago.

Tim graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978 with a bachelors degree in Horticulture. He earned masters degree in Environmental Education from Edgewood College. After running a landscape and tree care company for 20 years he accepted a position at Edgewood College and serves as Landscape and Grounds Coordinator and is a member of the faculty. Tim teaches in the Environmental Education program and is known for his "Roots and Shoots" class. He is an avid outdoorsman and relishes the opportunity to enlighten anyone who will listen about stewarding our precious resource of land.
