Why not come to the University of Wolverhampton Language Cafe? For all those familiar with the monolingual meetups at the Light House, this follows a similar format, except that you can practise more than one language at the same event. Hosts speaking a variety of languages will do their best to match you up with other speakers who share a language with you so you can get some speaking practice. You don't need to be fluent to join, just willing to have a go at speaking a language which you've already studied. If you only speak English, you can still come along and chat with international visitors to Wolverhampton who wish to practise their English.

You don't need to register or book a place, just turn up on the day. If you'd like any more information, please contact Angela Molinari (a.molinari@wlv.ac.uk) on 01902 518 907 or Alison Carminke (alison.carminke@wlv.ac.uk) on 01902 518 973.

The Language Cafe has been set up as part of the Sights & Sounds Joint Project Delivery Group, a Wolverhampton Portas Pilot initiative which aims to give people more incentive to stay in the city centre after finishing work.
