Ada Lovelace Hack Night

Join us for an evening of mingling, games and coding to celebrate innovative females within the tech industry!

Ada Lovelace was one of the most influential women in tech history. In 1828, she designed a flying machine and later devised what is recognized to be the first algorithm for computers, making her the the world's first female computer programmer.

October 15th is an international day of celebration that helps people learn about the achievements of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), inspiring others and creating new role models for young and old alike.

Food and drinks will be provided by ThoughtWorks, so come hungry for knowledge, networking, and a night of coding with women!

An awesome evening with bright women & men! I loved learning & celebrating the oft-overlooked contributions of women in computing. Perfect way for me to get back into vocational mindset without the pressure of immediate job searching.

If you come directly to the address, there's a visitors parking lot directly after the building on the right. It will take you up a little ramp around the back of the building.

Ada has been a hero of mine for some time. I first learned of her in grad school and have been interested ever since.
