(Denver) Ruby Study Group
Hosted by Boulder/Denver Group of Technical Women
Details
Are you learning Ruby and looking for other women to study with? Do you have a project you'd like to collaborate on? Are you just beginning your Ruby journey and would like some help getting started? ...Join us!!
Bring something you're working on, whether it's an app, a tutorial, your current book, or questions. This will be an inclusive work session where we can spend some time upgrading our own skills and helping each other build theirs. From experts to beginners, all are welcome.
Our Format: This is a self-directed study meetup where you can bring your current project and work on it, collaborate, or get some help. If you're brand-new and would like to begin learning Ruby, there are many resources to help get you started. The free tutorial at tryruby.org (http://tryruby.org/) is a good place to begin learning and the upcoming Railsbridge workshop (https://www.meetup.com/Boulder-Denver-Railsbridge/) (you can still RSVP for the wait list) is pure gold. Let us know if you'd like more suggestions.
When: Our first meet will be Thursday, May 30th at 6:30pm. (Even if you can't stay the full time, we'd love to have you join us for however long you are available.)
Where: We will be working from one of the conference rooms at iTriage (http://about.itriagehealth.com/), located at 1500 Wynkoop St. Suite 500.
Food: iTriage (http://about.itriagehealth.com/) is sponsoring food and drink! If you have dietary needs or a request, please contact Rylee. (Be sure to RSVP so we know how much food to order!) :)
Questions: If you have any questions or would like to attend but have a scheduling conflict, please comment in the event or contact Rylee directly. Thanks!
