As some of you may know, Aubrey Howell was in a very bad biking accident in San Francisco. She has a severe brain injury and is currently in a coma. To show her our support and to send her good vibes, let's dedicate all of the code that we write on Tuesday February 16th to her. You can use git pair or git duet if you want to tag her in all of the commits that you do on Tuesday. She is such a big part of the development community and has touched all of our lives. Also, please take pictures and use #codeforaubrey on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Take pictures of yourself coding and even the commit log that she is paired on. Let's let her know that we are all thinking of her and sending good vibes her way.
Aubrey was a classmate in the Galvanize Full Stack Program (g2), is constantly working to minimize imposter syndrome for all those passionate about programming, and is a true friend to anyone she meets.
