Please add your thoughts on what you'd like to see covered to the group discussion. If you'd like to present for a few minutes on a particular language, please add that to the discussion as well!

More information to come as we get closer...

Thanks!

Hi All - We're really excited for the "Ground Floor" presentation tomorrow!! Razor Technical Staffing will be providing dinner (THANK YOU!!!) - we'll be having pizza and beer! For our gluten-free/dairy-free coders - I don't think there will be much for you so I wanted to give you the heads-up! If anyone out there has good ideas for balancing the food needs of the group, would you let me know? (Ideas on things to order, etc?) I'm sort of new to this and am not sure how to keep it easy for our sponsors to feed us AND get food that people enjoy. I know that WWC San Francisco sometimes just does drinks/desserts and everyone brings their own dinner. What do you guys think? I'd welcome any thoughts - thanks!

I think if someone has a special dietary need, she can mention it in the comments section or email you directly for that particular meeting, so you can be prepared for it. It would be impossible to try to accomodate every possible dietary need (i.e. diabetic, low sodium, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.), so unless you KNOW someone is attending with that specific need, no need to stress yourself out anticipating every possibility. Plus, I enjoy having food at meetings, and would be a shame to not have it anymore because you can't (theoretically) accomodate everyone.

Great Great Great Meetup! Jackie did a wonderful job of presenting the layout of the world of code. I now have a much much better idea of what direction in code I'd like to seek after. Very helpful. Can't wait for the next meetup.

I just saw that someone who RSVP'ed asked about parking, so I wanted to mention that there's usually plenty of free street parking available on Platte Street. If not, there's a parking lot next to the building that always has plenty of spots available. I believe it's just a few dollars to park. Just to note, this lot has an old school cash-only machine, so you're not able to pay with a credit card.
