  • This location is shown only to members

Welcome to the Mobile Study group. If you have interest in Mobile development, please attend!

You will pair program with other attendees and build an app! Or work on your own project. You'll move at your own pace and will be able to get your hands dirty with an app from initial design to full implementation. Mentors will be floating around to answer any and all questions so you can leave with a super cool app!

Schedule:
6:30 - 7:00 Mingle and Dinner
7:00 - 9:00 Pair Programming

What to do beforehand?

iOS: You will need a Mac computer running OSX 10.7 or later, with Xcode 4.5 or later. Please install Xcode from the Mac App Store before you arrive.

Android: Android apps can be developed on Mac or PC. Please install Android Studio or Eclipse and the Android SDK before you arrive. If you do not have the proper equipment, don't worry, we will pair everyone up to work together.

    Does anyone have this book:
Programming in Objective-C, (6th Edition) by Stephen Kochan. Addison Wesley Professional
I need it for a class at city college for iOS, and I will buy it from you, or if you want to keep it, I can rent it!
