Kick off for the Django Tutorial: Leah Culver Q&A

Hey folks!

Awesome time yesterday - got some great conversation going on how to improve our code and our applications with both graphing and mapping.

We have a special guest for our kick off to Django! Leah Culver is a lady programmer, and was named as one of the Most Influential Women in Web 2.0 by Fast Company. She currently is working on Grove, an IRC for teams; as well as Baconfile, a web interface for Amazon S3. Leah is very supportive of open source, APIs, and Django (of which she used on her website here: http://leahculver.com/

Leah will give an introduction of herself and her projects, and will live plenty of time for Q&A. Let's pick her brain! Following our discussion with Leah, we will dive into Django to learn how to make an awesome website with an awesome language (cough Python!) This event is ONLY open to people who identify as women. Emphatically queer and trans friendly.
