This is a Ruby focussed study group and you are welcome to work on anything you like in our friendly and helpful environment. The organisers and Tech Leads will be present to help you with any Ruby related questions.

We will also be hearing 3 lightening talks!

This event is for programmers of ALL levels of Ruby ability.

• Claire Tran: Performance Tips For RoR Apps - A look into some techniques that can be applied to RoR apps (and most apps in general) on how to improve performance. We'll be looking into scaling, caching and other methods to grow from a single server database app to bigger apps :)

• Shamim Jahandideh: How to stay up to date and on top of things in the IT world
