Nurture your Inner Garden in 2015!

Women Writing for (a) Change, Jacksonville, is offering a new workshop series this spring based on the theme of "Nurturing Your Inner Garden" for women who love both collage and writing.

WHAT: Art + Soul Series
WHEN: Starts January 31, 2015, on alternating Saturdays
TIME: 10:00 to 12:15 p.m.
COST: $175 for the 6-week series

WHY THIS CIRCLE NOW?
I myself LOVE making collages and I LOVE to write. So, this circle is my excuse to get together with other women and create within that structure. We had a wonderful time with this series in the fall of 2014, and created some beautiful collages and beautiful writing. FORMAT AND MATERIALS

You will collage each time, based on an overall theme. You will end the series with a lovely little collection of inner wisdom and creative spirit — along with a series of writings to mark your creative journey.

WHEN WILL WE DO IT?
The Art and Soul Series starts Saturday, Jan. 31, for 6 weeks, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., on ALTERNATING Saturdays.

WHAT ARE THEY SAYING ABOUT THIS CLASS?

I loved the series and it has really helped me trust myself as an artist and writer.

This class far exceeded my humble expectations. Jennifer is a gifted facilitator who is compassionate and equally passionate about her work. For women in all phases of life, but especially during transition, Women Writing for (a) Change is timely, powerful, and joyful.

WILL WE DO A READ-AROUND?

You betcha! You'll be invited to read during our Public Read-Around in early May, and you can display your collages there if you would like to.

COST
The cost is based on $30 per class, or $175 total (Early Bird Price), with a $75 deposit. Covers materials and light lunch refreshments. You can bring a bag lunch and we'll also have a mini-potluck each time. (After January 21, tuition is $185.)

HOW WILL THIS TRANSFORM MY LIFE?
Personally, the meditative state that I get into when collaging brings forth many important messages from my subconscious. I've had many important breakthroughs from my collages over the past few years, and, I look forward to seeing how this process transforms each one of us.
