Art + Soul Series: The True Secret of Writing (and Collage)

Women Writing for (a) Change, Jacksonville, is offering a new series this spring based on the theme of "The True Secret" in a class for women who love both collage and writing.

WHAT: Art + Soul Series
WHEN: Starts January 30, for five Saturdays
TIME: 2 to 4:30 p.m.

WHY THIS CIRCLE NOW?
I myself LOVE making collages and I LOVE to write. So, this circle is my excuse to get together with other women and create within that structure. We had a wonderful time with this series in the spring of 2015, and created some beautiful collages and beautiful writing. FORMAT AND MATERIALS

You will collage each time, based on an overall theme. You will end the series with a lovely little collection of inner wisdom and creative spirit — along with a series of writings to mark your creative journey.

HOW WILL THIS TRANSFORM MY LIFE?
Personally, the meditative state that I get into when collaging brings forth many important messages from my subconscious. I've had many important breakthroughs from my collages over the past few years, and, I look forward to seeing how this process transforms each one of us.
