Here's why I developed Zip Cup: Have you ever tried unsuccessfully to squeeze a travel mug into a small bag or pocket? Felt guilty tossing a paper cup after 10 minutes of use? Had a paper cup unceremoniously slosh hot coffee onto your face or trousers? Zip Cup addresses these problems. It's a reinvented travel mug, and I created it because I wanted it in my life.

Here's why I'm raising money on Indiegogo: manufacturing tools are expensive. We’re talking tens of thousands of dollars BEFORE those tools even start churning out Zip Cups. I’m raising money to fund the final costs of preparing Zip Cup for manufacturing and production.

But it's not charity: if you support Zip Cup on Indiegogo, at almost every level you get at least one Zip Cup. Think of it as a pre-order, a way to stock up on gifts for the year. I'm offering a limited number of cups for just $15, which is a 40% discount from retail price.

Zip Cup is the biggest thing I've ever done, and I'm incredibly inspired by the support I've received.
