Workshop: Introduction to Shiny in R

(Restricted to Women Only)

This workshop will introduce using Shiny to make interactive visualizations to visualize results from R. We will also focus on using the shinydashboard package for layout purposes and discuss other packages made to work with Shiny.

We will assume at least a working knowledge of R, i.e. you can plot things, use some of the base functions, and install packages.

Preparation - Install the following in Rstudio:
• 'shiny'
• 'shinydashboard'

By the end of this workshop, you will have a working interactive browser based application that displays a plot and you will have the ability to post this app online.
