Why: Maintenance of the site and other items for the group
Meet other women of color (Latina's and African American's) in your community for friendships, activities, group discussions,etc! Welcoming all women! My goal is to bring together women of color to bond, have fun and enjoy life! You know we're out there we're in the supermarkets, Walmart, Target and in the mall but it's hard to establish a line of communication well here's your chance to bond with other women who may have similar interests as you and may live in your community!
Some of the events we get together for are as follows: The EVWOC Book Club - Feel free to participate, we have a monthly meeting to discuss the books. Our Monthly Sushi Meet-up - A time to get together with some chopsticks and talk about life! Movies - we love to support our fellow Actors/Actresses.
I am very happy to see so many women of color interested in this group but I would like you to browse the merchandise before purchasing (signing up)! If you don't think that you will actively participate please do not join. Mind you I do not expect you to come to every meet-up/activity but I would like you to be an ACTIVE member, participate on the message board and RSVP to scheduled meet-ups.
