Welcome Women's Action and Social Members!

Hi Ladies!
I have noticed that there aren't many women's social meetups geared towards women between the ages of 35 and 45. So...I thought it would be fun to start one! :) This group was created to foster friendships, engage each other in intellectual discussion, and provide empowering support. This group also places an emphasis on volunteering for women's and children's issues in the Arlington area.

Yes...we will have dinners out and fun fun fun. :) We also will have book discussions, movie outings, pool parties, and day trips. Does this sound good to you?? Great...then please join us.

This group is meant to foster friendships, encourage volunteerism for women's and children's issues, provide a forum for intellectual discussion, and provide us with the opportunity for fun fun fun!!! The group was created to provide a social venue for women between the ages of 30-45. This meetup is based in NOVA and DC...so most meetups will be held there.

Policies for membership application
1) This group is a safe space. It is open to all women regardless of race, political affiliation, religion, and sexual orientation. Please be aware that all members must be respectful of each other.
2) As of 7/31/09 all membership requests MUST have a recent photo posted to their profile. No exceptions... many members have been creative about making sure they aren't too recognizable...lol. But please...don't ask me to bend the rules. I may email to ask a photo be posted but if there is no response...then the application without a profile picture will be declined.
3) Please remember to change your yes rsvp the night before if you cannot attend an event. Some outings may require a paypal payment, but this will not usually be the case.
