This circle will be in the tradition of women's lodges that traditional societies around the world have held welcoming all adult (menstruating and menopausal) women. The purpose of these circles is to share wisdom and magic and journey to the otherworlds.
Our circle has evolved out of the long-running Austin Shamanism group in order to give our members a private place to hold discussions via our message boards, and private access to our files. We are a committed group of supportive Wise Women who follow diverse spiritual paths, and who range in age from college students to grandmothers. Prior shamanic journey experience is not required - we will teach you the basics.
A new topic is explored each session, followed by a shamanic drum journey. Our discussion topics have ranged from shamanic dreaming methods to working with auras and energy strands. Upcoming topics will cover past-life regressions, working with nature spirits, crystal healing, soul retrieval, and many others.
Currently, we have two regularly scheduled meetings each month: First Tuesdays at Resource Connection, 321 W. Ben White, Suite 203, Austin & Third Wednesdays at NiaSpace, 3212 S Congress Ave., Austin. Other events, such as nature hikes and social gatherings will be added in the future. Membership in this group is free, although we do ask for a contribution of $10 per person to cover space rental for meetings.
Come join our supportive community for a joyous, life-changing exploration of Spirit! We look forward to meeting you!
