The First WordPress Amsterdam bar meetup

This will be the first of hopefully many monthly meetups of the WordPress group in Amsterdam. Since it's the first this will be your chance to be part of history :).

According to the name ot the meeting it will be in a bar. Initially this was the plan, but when Glimworm offered their office as a meetup space it was to good of an offer to pass up on. But we'll promise to provide beers and other social performance enhancement substances.

Push2Press is an Open Source Native App CMS that accelerates the development of iPhone and Android apps that have built-in Push Notification functionality. JC from GlimWorm (the host of the evening) will be presenting this.

20:15-20:45 1st Talk by Julliete Reinders Folmers about character encoding

Julliete Folmers is a PHP and WordPress developer and consultant who spoke at several conferences, she will give a more technical oriented talk. The subject will be announced.

20:45-21:40 WordPress Sessions

We're going to have an experiment. People van suggest topics that they struggle with or want to know more about. Then the audience will group to their preffered topic and they have three (short) sessions to share knowledge and experience. The exact format will be explained.
