Managing your sites the CHEEZburger way

Details
There are many approaches to building websites, but when it comes time to managing multiple websites, the approach that utilizes the most reusable code makes it a lot easier. By leveraging one theme to run multiple websites, you only have to familiarize yourself with one codebase and turn the development and managing of multiple websites into one. In this talk, Brian will share his experience and tips in utilizing this approach.
In aiding this approach, there are very useful plugins that can be utilized. Among them are the Cheezcap plugin, which defines custom input areas in the admin, and the Field Manager plugin, which allows you to easily add new fields to pages and posts. Using plugins like these allows the code on the backend to remain the same throughout all of the sites while the input going into them can be completely different for each site.
