WordCamp Boston 2012 - July 14 & 15

I cannot stress enough how valuable going to a WordCamp can be. We are blessed in that Boston is having a WordCamp coming up in July to be held at Boston University (info at http://2012.boston.wordcamp.org/). Tickets are only $35 ($25 for students) and the workshops will cover a huge range of topics and experience levels. This is an area also extremely accessible by public transportation as the green line runs right up Commonweath Ave. In addition to the 2 days of great workshops scheduled for Sat July 14 and Sunday July 15, there is a separate Beginner's Workshop on Fri July 13 from 1-5pm (separate fee for this - info at http://bostonwpshop.eventbrite.com). If you are interested in the Beginner's workshop, I would register ASAP as I'm sure it will sell out.

Although I cannot make it this year due to another event I will be at, I encourage anyone interested to attend. I learned a tremendous amount when I went to one in the past.

Also, perhaps through comments on this meetup, folks could even arrange to carpool or meetup if they wish. In my experience, folks are really friendly at these things too, so you don't need to bring a friend as you will likely make new ones.
