New Meetup: Book and Wine Pairing - Bring your favorites

Announcing a new Meetup for DFW Words & Wine!

What: Book and Wine Pairing - Bring your favorites

When: Saturday, March 27,[masked]:00 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

I thougth this was a brilliant idea and I think you may agree.

Bring your absolute favorite book that you could re-read over and over again and your particular wine you find that goes well with your favorite book. Easy, right? If you need some help in this area let me tell you what I will be bringing........

Tiffany's favorite book she enjoys over and over is a toss up! I love Ernest Hemingway and I love two of his books so I will be bringing both because I can't ignore one over the other.....
The first one is 'Moveable Feast' I am lucky to have a priveliged edition but I always want to drink this with a favorite spirit and since this is wine we are talking about the other book I enjoy, especially during the cold months is his last book ever published 'The Garden of Eden' is the type of marriage I would love to experience and I am typically drinking a lovely french Chardonay.

So what is your favorite book? Why do you drink a particular wine (red or white?), (dry or full bodied?) does it enhance your love for the book? Does it re-create a good moment in your life? Oh, so many questions and ones that can only be shared with others who enjoy the same things in life.

I have a couple of restaurants in mind. They are mom/pop styles and the food is ethnic, but yummy! I have a particular place in mind on Lower Greenville and once I confirm the place I will update the location.

I am really looking forward to this type of event! Bring your friends and don't forget to bring two (2) bottles of the wine. Again, one for you and the other to share a tasting!

Happy sipping!
