I have changed up the dates to several book discussions due to several reasons. Easter was one of the main reasons and trying not to stack one Sunday right behind another.
The CURRENT reading list by Tiffany is as follows: March - The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon April - The Girls Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Steig Larson April - The Help by Katheryn Stockett
Based on the polls I will be posting a few other reads. Due to the status of some of us in our financial crunch I thought it might be good to focus on a few non-fiction books and some positive reinforcements to reflect on. If anyone has any great suggestions that they feel the group as a whole would enjoy please let me know or put it on the message board (sadly not overwhelmingly used).
I know Susan has some great reads to bring up as well, so always, always check the calendar for updates and what is on the list next.
As always, I look so forward to these events. They are simply the highlights to my day/weeks. Whether you have read the book or not, you are always invited to come and share in the discussion and/or just to be around other like-minded individuals. We are not snobs and thank God for that. Everyone is a friend as soon as you introduce yourself. If you are shy, no worries, I identify, truly I do and you will be made as comfortable as possible.
If you have been wanting to come to one of these events but you find the location to be a major factor, just let me know. My status as it is, is open to all schedules right now. I may even be able to do a few weekday events as well. But I need to hear from you. So don't be shy. I am very easy to reach!
All my best! Tiffany Also find me at : www.misshighmaintenance.wordpress.com and/or email me at [address removed]
What could be better than discussing a favorite book while making new friends over a glass of wine? We'll read literature and nonfiction... best-sellers like "The Time Travelers Wife, "The Kite Runner," "Devil in the White City," and "Into Thin Air."
