The Totally Unconventional Book Club Meeting: May 22

The book club for professionals who don’t have a heck of a lot time to read, but love to learn and get new perspectives. Here’s what makes this book club different: rather than everyone reading the same book and then getting together to discuss it, one person reads a book and presents a summary to the group, then we have an open discussion on the topic. So there’s some reading involved, but only if you’ve read a book, found it worthy of summarizing for the group, and volunteer to do so. Our general category of book for this club is Business, but we mean that in the broadest sense of the word.

Our May meeting will feature How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and will be presented by our new Convivium intern Ryan Legits. Ryan is excited share his GenY perceptive on this classic.

Bring your own lunch (drinks are provided by Convivium) and your computer (everyone is invited to stay and cowork after the event).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
