Work club is a New York City based group for people who get their best work done in uninterrupted stretches of collaboration. If you're like us, you find that being left alone for 8 hours straight means little gets done compared to working in a group. Work Club is the answer! Here's how it works: A few of us will meet up for a period of time (such as 1pm-6pm on Saturday, or 11am-5pm on a Wednesday). We all write down what we are going to accomplish, then we use the Pomodoro Technique (www.pomodorotechnique.com) to stay focused and get those tasks knocked out. At the end of the session, we check in on how each of us did. The productivity of these sessions is unbelievable. Some participants say that one day of work club accomplishes more than the entire week. So come join an existing session or create your own and let's get productive!
