Racial Justice (part 2 of 2) AVP Weekend Workshop

Details

Racial Justice is an Advanced Special Topic weekend workshop of Alternative to Violence Project (AVP). AVP is a grassroots, volunteer program dedicated to reducing violence in our lives. This workshop on Racial Justice makes a space for us to practice transforming conflict into win-win outcomes. No one loses. Conflict becomes an opportunity for greater understanding and relationships. AVP is a combination of light-hearted activities and more reflective exercises that provide a place for laughter and learning to meet. These workshops are not lectures, not therapy, but a lot of heart, joy and solution making around the special topic of Racial Justice. These experiential weekends, meet people where they are at. Whatever your level of education, background, or other training in the field of conflict resolution and nonviolence, AVP will compliment it and provide space for you to continue your journey of learning.

A $30-100 contribution is requested to help us cover food costs. Your presence is more important than a financial contribution. Please contact us if you need a scholarship. Advanced level workshops are open to graduates of AVP Basic or Transforming Power Workshops.
