What Rocky is saying about this Meetup Group

I'm not terribly in tune with the tenets, values and assertions woven through the linked website. I don't think "believers" is a good word to describe people who are interested in unidentified aerial anomalies. I take the term UFO very literally and think that statements that /identify/ cancel out the term /unidentified/. " raise awareness about the undoubted existence of UFO's and with that intelligent beings from outer space." That makes me think this is not about UFOs at all. A UFO is no more evidence of ETI than a rainbow is evidence of gold treasure. I actually entertain all sorts of weird ideas, so if your approach to things ends up making ME sound like a hardened skeptic, your approach might be a little off. Also: "...and send out the message mentally that UFO's are welcome on this earth." No sense of stranger danger there. Anyway, I joined the group because I didn't seen any statements demanding adherence to the tenets on the website.
