What are you writing? e.g. novel, short story, poem, play, screenplay

Editing first novel (Literary Realism) whilst writing second novel.

Micro fiction: why did Karen hit the red Volkswagen?

"Why did Karen hit the red Volkswagen?" Jake shook his head. "I don't know." Sean dropped the empty shot glass off of the roof. "Here is a better question." Jake looked at Sean. "If every living creature dies and time is therefore precious, why do people make small-talk?" Jake pulled a mobile phone from his trench coat. "Life is too short for politeness, bad jokes and inane chit-chat." Sean smiled. "Most people do not think about death." Jake pressed a few buttons. "That's why they do not appreciate life." Sean glanced up at the dark sky. "They're are greedy, negligent and superficial." Jake put his phone away. "They need to wake up and to stay awake." Sean noticed that the moon was full. "That's why I do, what I do."

I like meeting other creatives, especially creatives that are sensitive, patient, open-minded, hard-working, modest, passionate, curious, friendly, honest, confident and fun.
