A play and a novel.
So it belonged to Laura. Of course it did. Laura was the exactly the kind of woman to own a red VW beetle. Laura was the kind of woman who would stick large daisies on the bonnet of her red volkswagen and a gerbera on the dashboard. Laura would also be the sort of woman that would think nothing of sleeping with her colleague's husband and denying it with a shrug of her shoulders. It was, then, unlucky for Laura that Karen was the kind of woman who would forgive her husband for straying but set out to destroy the woman who had tempted him away from his wife and family. Her first thought, then, was begin her campaign of repossession of what was hers so with perfect clarity of mind, she reversed her husband's BMW into the red volkswagen and hit it: once, twice, three times. She got out of the car, felt in her handbag for a pen and paper, wrote a note and left it under the windscreen wiper of the red car. Looks like you've been rear-ended, it read. Call me if you want to settle.
