Everyone is a writer. Yes, that means you too.
Whether your writing endeavors are prolific or sporadic, there is something here for you. This group focuses on making writing a regular part of life, helping each other set and reach goals, providing feedback, and freeing our creative voices.
Wednesday Meetings (7-9 pm):
This is your time to share the writing experience. During the first hour we'll talk about anything to do with writing: finding the time to write, keeping the discipline of writing, writing blocks, writing inspirations, etc. This month is National Novel Writing Month (nanowrimo.org). Part of each meeting will be dedicated to talking about progress for anyone who is participating in the 50,000 word challenge.
Meetings are two hours, November only! At 8 pm we will shift from talking to writing. Bring your novel or any writing project and plan to make some real progress to meeting that 50,000 word goal. Mini-writing challenges and prizes will help keep the energy high and words flowing!
There is a suggested contribution of $5/meeting to help cover the rental of the meeting space and incidentals.
Saturday Meetings (9-11:30 am):
This a meeting dedicated to writing. Bring your current project or something new you have been meaning to get started. For those of you participating in the nanowrimo challenge of 50,000 words in a month, this is the perfect setting to make real progress on your word count!
Spend a little time communing with other writers and lots of time on your writing. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far. It has been great fun and very productive!
No fee. Buy coffee and a snack to support the cafe, as your budget allows

This is your time to share the writing experience. We'll talk about anything to do with writing: finding the time to write, keeping the discipline of writing, writing blocks, writing inspirations, etc. Feel free to bring a short excerpt (~600 words) of your writing to share and get feedback.
