Smutty Story Circle

The Smutty Story Circle:

Guided writing workshop and reading circle, open to all experience levels. Bring your own or your favourite erotica to share, or simply join us for guided writing in a queer-friendly, gender-inclusive space. Pay-what-you-want, $10 suggested. 18+

Because we meet when the building is closed, please arrive 5-10 minutes early as the workshop will start at 6, and the doors will be locked. If you do arrive late, text Tiffany at 403-701-1489.

Writing in the Margins (https://www.facebook.com/writing.margins/events?directed_target_id=0) events are always open to all genders, all orientations, all experience levels, racial identities, socio-economic classes, educational backgrounds and abilities. We believe that writing belongs to everyone.

Bring your notebook, your laptop, your ipad or notepad. If you've ever wanted to write about desire and fantasy, but have been afraid of failing, find yourself in the welcoming space of a Writing in the Margins workshop. You will not be obligated to share your just-written work, and you always have the option of sitting an exercise out and just listening if other writers are willing to share their work.

The Smutty Story Circle will also include a reading circle where we can share our favourite smut with the group, either our own writing or writing that we've come across and enjoyed.

Additionally, The Smutty Story Circle prompts will be shared on the Writing in the Margins (https://www.facebook.com/writing.margins/events?directed_target_id=0) blog after the event, so that you can participate from home if you are not able to make it to the event.
