YBITS Universal Turing Dinner Replacing Regular Pub Night

Alan Turing is widely considered the father of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He developed a concept crucial to computer science, was instrumental in breaking the Enigma code, and created a test for deciding if a machine is intelligent or not.

In honor of Turing's 100th Birthday on the 23rd of June, YBITS will be conducting a Universal Turing Dinner in lieu of our regular pub night. Keeping things casual we'll be having it at my house and keeping the beer involved:P

The cost will be $15 with food and some drinks provided (However much can be afforded). Feel free to bring whatever extra drinks you may want. Please also advise me if you have a special dietary requirement. Payment can be made by Paypal. As always, no profit is made from YBITS events.

My place is almost next door to Moorooka train station. If able to give people lifts to the city or elsewhere, please post in the discussion forum.

I know it's a bit different, but hey, different can be fun ;)

Spaces for the dinner will be limited to 20, RSVP by the end of Tuesday the 3rd of July.
