"Why do we practice outdoors?"
- Practicing in nature connects us directly with the energy of the Earth, to the source of all life. As we tune to the energy of the Universe our perception of life becomes increasingly enhanced, life becomes more rewarding and we perceive & experience the universe around us and within us. We feel better, look better and shine brighter! ~
"How do we overcome challenges of practicing outdoors?"
- We arrive mentally & physically prepared. We understand that lessons learned on our yoga mats permeate our everyday life. ~
- We dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout changing weather conditions (a class is canceled only during heavy rains or very strong winds). ~
- We embrace our surroundings by focusing on the pleasant sounds & pleasant sceneries of the nature that help us tune deeper within. We learn to withdraw from undesirable sounds and visual distractions. ~
- We are focusing on grounding through our feet as we balance on the Earth's uneven surfaces, the grass or the sand. Ultimately, we are getting in touch with nature; we are getting in touch with our inner selves. ~

DIRECTIONS: From Harbor Blvd. turn on Oceanaire St, Left on Mandalay Beach Rd. Free parking on Mandalay Beach Rd or Oceanaire St.
MEETING SPOT: The grass area and the beach area at the northwest corner of the park where Mandalay Beach Rd & Beach Way meet (oceanside of the park & on the other side of the Mandalay Beach Hotel). Please, see more information on our website under each class description!

WHAT to BRING for a YOGA class:
- Yoga mat
- Large towel/blanket/bed sheet
- Yoga props (if you own a yoga block/strap/etc)
- Dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout changing weather conditions
WHAT to BRING for a TAI-CHI class:
- Dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout changing weather conditions
- Comfortable shoes
PLEASE, NOTE that classes are canceled only during heavy rains or strong winds as YOGA by the SEA instructors are committed to serve you & guide you through various experiences!!!
