Meet with other yarn crafters interested in knitting and crocheting for charity. Our group will be donating handmade yarn items to multiple organizations throughout the year. Some of the projects that we will be working on will include blankets for a cat rescue, hats and scarves for cancer patients, bears for children in Africa affected by AIDS, and red scarves for college graduates who were in the foster system.
All skill levels are welcome and we would be more than happy to help you learn.
*Got any leftover yarn? Contact Dionne and our group will put it to good use. : )
Come join us and learn how to make a hat. Dionne will be teaching a very easy beanie style crocheted cap that is great for cancer patients who have lost their hair. Midori will teach a hat that is knitted.
CROCHET SUPPLY LIST: Bring a skein of yarn that is soft, Vanna's Choice works well, and a "J" or "K" hook, depending on how tight your stitches are, and some stitch markers. Read more
