The Yoga for Kids and Preteens Meetup is designed to introduce kids and preteens (ages 5-11) and their families to the healthful benefits of a regular yoga practice.

Each month we’ll host one or two age-specific Meetup classes that will incorporate yoga postures, themes, breath-work, and relaxation techniques that are equal parts beneficial, practical, and fun. Kids and preteens will practice poses that challenge both the body and the mind while building strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and concentration.

We’ll mix up the Meetups we offer each month—one month might feature a Meetup for preteens as well as a second Family Yoga Meetup for parents plus kids. Sometimes we’ll offer a Kids & Preteen Yoga class where children can learn amongst just their peers. Siblings (age-appropriate to the class) are welcome; additional fees will apply for sibs.

Note: This Meetup group only accepts members who are parents/caregivers of at least 18 years of age. Adult members must RSVP their kids or preteens for individual classes offered by this meetup group. Kids under 18 are not allowed to join as members.
