Young couples of Howard County is a Meetup designed for couples who want to get out of the house and meet other couples!  We welcome couples of all types:  new couples, couples who have been married for years, same-sex couples, couples with children, childless couples, etc. This group is all about having a GREAT time through a vast array of different events.  Here is a brief list of our past and upcoming events:  dinner and a movie, brunch, Ellicott City Ghost Tour, Flying Dog Brewery Tour, apple picking at Larriland Farm, free happy hours at Cancun Cantina, Linganore Wine Festival, Wine in the Woods, backyard pool parties/barbecues, themed potlucks, book club, dog park, hiking in Patapsco State Park, board game nights, snow tubing, Imax show, Zumba parties, in house beer and wine tasting, bowling, guys only poker night, girls only dinner theater at Toby’s, outdoor concerts, and much more!  We even have our own co-ed softball team, co-ed volleyball team and men's basketball team that play in the Howard County rec leagues!

For security purposes, since some of our events are held in private residences, all new members must attend a new member "meet & greet" event prior to being accepted into the group. A separate email will be sent with details for the next series of meet & greet events that you can choose from.  ****EXCEPTION- If you personally know someone already in the group and they've invited you to join, please shoot the Organizer an email naming the person you know so you can skip the "meet & greet" event and be automatically accepted. 

We know it can be a little daunting attending the "first event" but you just have to put on your brave face and come on out.  Once you're with us for about 15-minutes, you'll become just part of the crew and then you never have to worry about being the "newbie" again.  How bad can it be....really.
