Biathlon - Hiking, then swimming
Details
The Wekiva hike (https://www.meetup.com/YoungOutdoorAdventurersofOrlando/events/99234672) was a blast; I want to do it again. For me, the highlight was climbing around some of the sinkholes, but it was all good.

The plan is to get hot and sweaty hiking, then jump in the chilly springs. We'll take plenty of rests, but it will probably be around 8-10 miles of walking, so make sure you don't mind that sort of thing. As for food, I'll bring the grill, you bring whatever grillables you want to eat afterward.
Also, make sure to drink plenty of water ahead of time. There will be restrooms at the beginning and along the trail, so don't worry about overdoing it. Plus, it's going to be a hot summer, and there's a real risk of dehydration. Likewise, don't come hungry; you'll work up an appetite.
We'll be meeting at the springs, but if you have any trouble figuring out where to go or finding the group, don't hesitate to call/text me at (407) 921-0775.
Stuff to bring:
• Bug spray, as we're not the only ones working up an appetite
• Grillables for after the hike (I'll bring the grill and a little bit of extra food, but probably not enough for everyone)
• Sun screen
• Hat/visor if you have one
• $6 entry fee. Cash, I believe.
• Close-toed shoes (sneakers/socks should do the trick)
• Water/snacks.
• More water
• Swimming clothes, for the water you didn't bring.
• If you own snorkeling gear, an innertube, a waterproof camera, etc. you might want to bring those along also.
