Mountain Biking Snow Hill

This has been a suggested Meetup for quite a while now...

I think this is probably a good time of year to go here. The Econ river's water level fluctuates greatly depending on the amount of rain. The best parts of the trail parallel the river. I recall that the trail can flood over at certain points during periods of heavy rainfall, so now is a good time to go while the rainy season is not yet in full gear and not too hot either.

This is a single track mountain bike trail. No pavement. We will try to ride for 2-3 hours and decide as a group how far we want to go. This ride can include all skill level riders, but we will maintain a pace in which all riders are comfortable. We can also stop for pictures / wildlife or anything else that catches out interest as well...

There is a $2 honor pay box station when you park (cash only).

Unfortunately, I do not believe there are any rentals nearby in Oveido or Geneva, so you will need to bring your own bike or borrow from a friend.

After the ride we can grab lunch somewhere in Oviedo.

Remember to Bring:

-Bike

-Helmet

-Water (and a means to carry the water while on the trail)

• snack (nuts/ energy bar, etc.)

• $2 Cash for parking, as well as $ for lunch after
